Meet the Founder
Christiana Magneson
I grew up on California’s Central Coast, where a love of movement, the outdoors, and lifelong learning shaped who I am today. With a background in science and education, I’ve always been drawn to understanding how the body works and how people learn and move best.
As someone with scoliosis who underwent spinal fusion surgery in middle school, I developed a deeply personal relationship with movement at an early age. Improving my posture, rebuilding strength, and learning to move with intention became an important part of my own journey, one that took on new meaning during my postpartum experience. Pilates played a powerful role in helping me rebuild strength, reconnect with my body, and regain confidence in movement.
That experience ultimately led me to pursue Pilates professionally. I have completed Level 1 and Level 2 teacher training through PC International Education, expanding my education across Mat, Reformer, advanced Pilates repertoire, and working with a variety of injuries and conditions. I continue to deepen my knowledge through ongoing education so I can bring thoughtful, informed movement to every session.
I focus on creating highly personalized sessions that meet each client exactly where they are. My goal is to bring Pilates to you in a way that feels accessible, intentional, and tailored to your lifestyle.
Outside the studio, you’ll usually find me hiking and exploring the Central Coast with my family and our two doodles, reading, or exploring by the coast!
